New hiring aid

A decree dated October 29, 2021 provides for a new aid of up to €8,000 for the hiring, between November^1, 2021 and December 31, 2022, of people meeting the following conditions:

• be registered as a long-term job seeker
• be hired under a professionalization contract
• prepare for a diploma or professional qualification equivalent to no more than level 7 (i.e. Master's level)
• be at least 30 years old. However, this age condition only applies until June 30, 2022. It will disappear on July^1, 2022.

All conditions must be met on the date the contract is signed to qualify for assistance.

The aid is paid quarterly for the first year of the contract.
