The French Occupational Health Act has introduced changes to the PRE-REPRISE MEDICAL VISIT and created the LIAISON APPOINTMENT.
Above all, it introduces a new obligation for the employer to inform the employee of the possibility of undergoing this pre-reinstatement medical check-up or benefiting from this liaison appointment, with the employee being free to decide whether or not to follow it up.
Liaison appointments
As of March 31, 2022, the French Occupational Health Act introduced a " liaison meeting " between employee and employer during a period of sick leave following an occupational or non-occupational illness or accident, involving the occupational health service.

Pre-resumption medical check-up
Previously, the pre-reinstatement medical examination concerned work stoppages of more than 3 months, but the employer was under no obligation to inform the employee of the possibility of undergoing this examination.
For all work stoppages beginning on or after April1, 2022, the employer must now provide information about the pre-injury medical examination:
