Exco Finance et Transactions advises INGENEO, a software solutions provider, on its merger with SEPTEO, a major player in LegalTech.
INGENEO® has specialized in IT and digital engineering since 2011. Our highly technical DNA enables us to advise and recommend standard or customized solutions to companies of all sizes.
In recent years, the company has developed its own self-learning optical document processing software solutions, NéoStart® and NéoExpert®, for SMEs, mid-sized companies and chartered accountants. The company, which also develops cloud architecture and application solutions, employs around 30 people, including some 15 engineers.
Founded in 2013, the SEPTEO Group brings together companies specializing in software solutions and IT services for legal, real estate and corporate professionals. Since its creation, it has continued to expand its business expertise and technological know-how, offering innovative responses to legal departments, real estate players and IT professionals. Septeo Group employs over 2,000 people worldwide, in France, Belgium, Tunisia, Canada and the United States.
The Exco Finance et Transactions team is delighted to have accompanied the INGENEO partners in this merger with one of the leaders in LegalTech in France and worldwide. For SEPTEO, this acquisition is in line with its strategy of providing innovative solutions to professionals in the fields of accounting, chartered accountancy and management accounting, enabling it to structure a global offering around this first acquisition.
