Exco, partner of the Salons Renault de la reprise et création d'agence for the 13thth consecutive year
On Saturday November 18, from 9am to 1pm, Renault and Exco are organizing a trade fair for the takeover and creation of branches simultaneously in 6 French cities (Aix-en-provence, Bordeaux, Lyon, Nantes, Paris, Strasbroug) in order to support both sellers and buyers in this long and complex process.
Between 100 and 150 of Renault's 3,500 independent garages change hands every year. Behind these figures lies the problem of maintaining this network in a difficult economic climate.
170 Renault branches of all sizes to be taken over throughout France will be offered to investors.
In 2016, 42 agency takeover negotiations were initiated at the show.
Renault has been organizing these trade shows for 13 years, in partnership with the EXCO network (France's 6th largest accounting and auditing network), to help the network find buyers and facilitate the sale of garages.
This day provides an opportunity for sellers and buyers to meet and exchange views , and for EXCO professionals toinform participants about the specificities of both agency takeovers and sales: the need to anticipate, the problem of financing, the psychological aspects of the seller, garage valuation methods, inventory valuation, spare parts reprocessing, commercial, social and environmental diagnostics... This preparation is crucial and indispensable , particularly for securing the support of financial partners.
It is part of a more global approach by Renault and EXCO to raise awareness and support agents in the transfer and management of branches, through meetings organized throughout the year. Renault continues to rely on the expertise of the EXCO automotive division, which relies on a method, tools and nearly 142 specialized professionals.
Meetings held throughout the year at the initiative of the manufacturer and the Agent Group highlight the needs identified in the field, and offer agents a free pre-diagnosis to optimize the long-term future and transfer of their garage.
