Exco Paris Ace and Exco Nexiom, both members of Exco, announce their merger to form the Exco Nexiom Group. The two firms, based in Paris and the eastern part of France, now form a group of 300 people and 23 partners, with total annual sales of 25 million euros. Auditing activities account for 50 people.
The merger was prompted by the desire to bring together the complementary and long-standing skills of the two firms: public accounting, statutory auditing, corporate consulting and asset management for Exco Nexiom; financial auditing of listed and unlisted companies, arbitration, litigation expertise and independent valuation for Exco Paris ACE, a renowned player in financial expertise.
This broader range of assignments is in line with market demand, which calls for skills that are both more diversified and more specialized. "Today's accountancy firms need to be able to offer not only a global, strategic vision, but also ultra-specialized advice, provided in-house or through subsidiaries. The chartered accountant is at the heart of these changes, with digital transformation making him or her not just a data collector, but also a data analyst," analyzes Jean-Luc Besson, Chairman of the Exco Nexiom Group.
The Exco Nexiom Group's mission is to serve national and international customers, and to develop synergies between the Paris region and the Grand Est (currently Epinal, Nancy, Metz and Thionville) to support companies, particularly European ones, in setting up operations in France.
For Exco, the merger of its Paris-based firms Exco Nexiom and Exco Paris ACE strengthens its foothold in the Greater Paris region and illustrates the values shared by its members. Indeed, the two firms share much more than just working methods: they share the same vision of the future of financial services for regional and national companies.
