Cyril Darmouni, partner at Exco, is delighted to announce the arrival of Laurent P Jouffray as the new managing partner of the Salt Lake City, Utah office.
The mission of this new office, Exco UTAH, is to support local and international SMEs operating in the state of Utah and neighbouring states, to advise French companies looking to set up in the region, and vice-versa, to advise American companies prospecting the French market.
"It's essential to be able to effectively support the consolidation of companies that are increasingly turning towards international markets, and to play an essential role in driving the growth of SMEs in both our countries," comments Aline Darmouni, President of Exco US.
The office will be located in the premises of our partner CBIZ, a member of the Kreston network, and will benefit from the resources and services of CBIZ (the 10th largest law firm in the U.S. with 4,600 employees).
Laurent P Jouffray is a chartered accountant and statutory auditor. He began his career with the Salustro Reydel network, then Andersen, before joining PKF as a partner. In 2006, Laurent set up his own accounting and auditing firm, opening two main offices in Paris and Aix en Provence. He sold his firm in 2012 before relocating to Utah for family reasons. Laurent has also been a business leader, mainly in the real estate and hotel sectors. He has participated in the development of major resorts in the Indian Ocean, France and the USA. Laurent is well acquainted with the service sectors: banking, insurance, transport, hotels, telephony, real estate development and consulting, as well as the agri-food industry. Laurent joined the Exco US team in 2018, creating Exco Utah with Aline and Cyril Darmouni.
