As of March 31, 2022, new rules concerning the Single Document for Assessing Occupational Risks (DUERP) will apply.
Updating the DUERP
The single risk assessment document is updated :

In addition, the annual program for the prevention of occupational hazards and the improvement of working conditions, or the list of preventive and protective actions, must now be updated each time the single document for the assessment of occupational hazards is updated, if necessary.
Concerning the availability of the DUERP
As of March 31, 2022, the DUERP and its earlier versions must be kept available for current and former workers for a period of 40 years from the date they were drawn up.
At present, the DUERP can be drawn up on paper or in digital format.
In the near future, it will be compulsory to submit it via a digital portal.
The single document must be filed electronically:
- from July1, 2023, to companies with 150 or more employees;
- from dates to be set by decree, depending on the size of the company, and from July1, 2024 at the latest for companies with fewer than 150 employees.
Until such time as the obligation to file the occupational risk assessment document on a digital portal comes into force, the employer keeps successive versions of the single document within the company in the form of a paper or dematerialized document.
