According to a press release issued on September 15 by the Ministry of Labor, the SMIC will increase by 2.2% on October1, 2021.
The hourly SMIC will be raised to €10.48 gross (from €10.25 at present).
The monthly SMIC for 35 hours will be set at €1,589.47 gross (compared with €1,554.62 at present), with repercussions on the calculation of the general reduction in employer contributions, the remuneration of apprentices, and so on.
